Overthink² Demo

Overthink 2 is a video game made entirely from plasticine and brought to life through soulful stop-motion animation! 

It tells the story of a boy whose mind is overcrowded with intrusive thoughts. 
To learn how to live with them, he enters a fairytale world and embarks on a journey through the five stages of grief. Each game biome represents one of these stages, bringing strange encounters with memorable characters along the way.

In this text-driven JRPG, every battle is a dialogue.The boy’s inventory is his head, filled with thoughts that argue with each other. Whenever our protagonist faces a decision, his thoughts interfere to take control. He has no traditional weapons, so instead he relies on what he carries in his head-inventory: anxiety, doubt, overprotection, and avoidance. By learning to navigate these thoughts, he gradually learns to face the challenges around him and move forward with his story.
